The Inside Dish I’ve been a stuffed pizza fanatic since the day I could eat. Growing up in Chicago, I had the opportunity to visit all the famous pizzerias in the city. When I married Mattie, and made Liberty my home, I still longed for my favorite food. Mattie found the perfect way to satisfy my cravings for a cheesy, tomato-topped, fresh baked pizza. She bought me a deep dish pizza pan and put me to work. I created pizza after pizza before hitting what I think of as the jackpot, The Dish Stuffed Pizza. It has the freshest, highest quality ingredients – specially seasoned meats, garden-fresh vegetables and three Wisconsin cheeses – nestled between tow layers of golden crust. And it’s all topped with my exclusive sauce made from premium California tomatoes and a secret blend of spices. We opened this restaurant and bar because we believe the best-tasting deep dish stuffed pizza in the Kansas City area (and beyond) is just too good to keep to ourselves. Since then, we’ve added other delectable Dishes that have been inspired by my experiences in the Windy City – a great, crispy thin crust pizza and variety of salads, entrees, pastas and sandwiches.
